Liverpool Wedding Photography
It was a lovely sunny day in Liverpool when I arrived at All Hallows Church to photograph Alice & Rogers home made / bicycle themed wedding day. Alice looked effortlessly elegant as she arrived at the church with her beautiful bouquet that she made herself. After a lovely ceremony by the charming Rector Godfrey, the bride & groom made their way to the ceremony via rickshaw to the wedding reception at Alice’s parents beautiful home. There was great entertainment by the Fuke-A-Ladies from Levy Uke Up playing ukuleles (and kazoos, brilliant!) and face & body painting for the kids ( and grown ups!) by Face2Face. As everyone enjoyed Roger’s creatively named home brew the competition brewed for the bake off and Alice & Roger tasted each of the lovingly prepared cakes brought along hoping for a win! As the wedding breakfast was being prepared in the marquee we sneaked off for some shots of the bride & groom together. The amazing brightly decorated wedding cake with bicycle topper was made by Alice’s sister and I just have to mention the porta loos! Nothing like the ones you see at festivals, quite the contrary! Flowers, sink, background music and as was pointed out to me, real wood! Haha! They certainly were a conversation starter! On a personal note, I believe I aided the win of the celebrity bicycle quiz, hurrah!
What a lovely day it was, thank you Roger for letting me take a few bottles of home brew and congratulations to you both!
