Sonia & Mal’s Haydock Park Racecourse Wedding
I was really looking forward to this wedding after meeting Sonia & Mal, two free spirited entrepreneurs who obviously share a deep love for one another. I absolutely adored both the bride & grooms outfits, Sonia wore a beautiful dress with a gorgeous floral headband and bouquet and Mal looked dapper in his colourful suit, dickie bow and hat. Arriving in style in a pink stretch limo they walked down the aisle together breaking with tradition and again with Sonia doing a reading and Mal and bridesmaid singing theirs together, it was great! The wedding was tennis themed as that is where they met (being accomplished players), the rings were presented on a tennis bat and table names and the cake were themed too. After the ceremony they exited in style getting everyone clapping along to a cool song I love but can’t remember right now! Brilliant! After we had finished with the official photos and guests enjoyed having their caricature drawn by John at Mad Badger, it was time for the wedding breakfast followed by some very funny and entertaining speeches. I’m sure everyone appreciated best man Phil’s ‘toast’ joke! Mal sang a rendition of ‘It Must Be Love’ on the ukelele to Sonia which he had promised to do when she gave it him as a gift, he was very modest but I thought he was great! Soon after it was time for me to go, I’m sure everyone had a great evening if the day was anything to go by! Congratulations Sonia & Mal, it really was a pleasure!
