Helen & Liam’s Liverpool Town Hall Wedding & Oh Me Oh My reception
I joined Helen and the girls as they were getting ready at the gorgeous Merchant Quarter apartments with it’s fab views across Liverpool. The bubbly was flowing after how many extra runs out girls? Haha! Helen’s dress was so beautiful and emotions run high when she put it on, (my first eye water of the day!), I went to join Liam at the Town Hall as he was greeting guests and awaiting Helen’s arrival. Breaking with convention, Helen & Liam met each other outside and lead the wedding party into the ceremony room with their lovely little girl Charlotte as the brass quartet played some fun music. After a very moving ceremony (and my 2nd eye water!) everyone walked down to Oh Me Oh My for the wedding reception, we hung back for some photos at the Town Hall and took some more on our walk down, congratulated by car beeps and pedestrians! After everyone enjoyed some Ice Cream, we took a few quick group shots before everyone sat down for their dinner. There were no traditional speeches as along with the rest of the wedding, Helen & Liam wanted to keep it all nice and informal and it was, although Helen & Liam did say a few words before they cut the stunning, made the day before by best friend and bridesmaid, cake! The evening guests began to arrive and people made their way up to the balcony and before long it was time for me to go,( after pinching a piece of cake, it was delicious!)
Congratulations Helen & Liam!
