Victoria & Helen’s Same Sex Wedding at Hope Street Hotel Liverpool
I arrived at Hope St on a brisk sunny February day with two very nervous ladies who where about to get married, welcomingly distracted by their lovely chatty bridesmaid nieces! Helen & Victoria wanted a relaxed, intimate wedding so they broke down the conformity of their wedding day, no dresses or bouquets for them, just two people who love each other very much dedicating their lives to one another. The bridesmaids had some lovely tulips from the talented Verity & Thyme who also dressed the room. After a group hug, the brides and their three bridesmaids made their way to the beautiful ceremony room with it’s stunning views over Liverpool and walked down the aisle hand in hand. After a lovely, and at times funny ceremony, everyone headed down to the basement (aka The Residents Lounge) before we popped out for some quick photos before the wedding breakfast. Helen & Victoria both made a brief speech after dinner then everyone enjoyed sitting around one big table, sharing laughs like one big family! We did pop out for a quick night time shot and the girls didn’t complain one bit even though it was freezing! ( You had one job Graham!) Congratulations Helen & Victoria!
Vicky ConroyHi Lisa,
Thank you so much for the wonderful photos, they really capture the whole day perfectly. Looking at them brought huge smiles to our faces. Couldn’t have asked for a better photographer!
Best wishes
