Emily + Matt’s Pimhill Barn Wedding
I knew this wedding was going to be as fun and relaxed as they come when I first met Emily + Matt in Liverpool. It was my first time at the lovely Pimhill Barn and on my arrival Matt’s aunt told me she was the bee keeper for the bees that produced the honey for the wedding favours which Matt’s grandad made the honey dippers for by hand. Emily + Matt are LIPA graduates, as are many of their friends, I was surrounded by talent! Everyone was getting ready together in the lovely cottage in the grounds, Emily said how she couldn’t imagine getting ready without Matt because he’s her best friend which I could see was obvious throughout the day. Emily + Matt walked hand in hand looking very stylish joining their wedding party before entering the cosy ceremony room in the barn. A swift but heartfelt ceremony later everyone enjoyed Pimms in the marquee and we squeezed in a quick ten minutes for photos around the grounds before everyone sat down for a hog roast buffet. After the meal, Emily’s sister had organised a surprise from Drumroots, a West African Performance Troupe, as they were engaged in Africa and it certainly perked everyone up ready for the evening! I was happy to see members from New Power Soul Club in the fab band Flynn & Tonics as they always do a great performance and get everyone up dancing and dance they did! I could rabbit on and on about this wedding but I’ll stop there! Congratulations Emily + Matt!
