Birkenhead Town Hall Wedding – Lola & Mark

Lola and Mark’s Birkenhead Town Hall wedding was the first time we have photographed a wedding in Hamilton Square. The weather was glorious and brought in beautiful colours through Birkenhead Town Hall’s stained glass windows as Lola and Mark made their way up the stairs. The grand architecture combined with the stained glass meant the couple made a very grand entrance to the ceremony room.

There are plenty of spaces to get some lovely photos in Birkenhead Town Hall if you get the chance. There’s the grand architecture as you make your way through the building, to the ceremony room letting the natural light pour in through the huge windows. Not forgetting the extravagant doors and doorways which make distinctive backgrounds as you can see from Lola and Marks photographs.

After some shots outside the town hall, we had a stroll around Hamilton Square with the vibrant blossom trees. The bright pink and rich green behind Lola and Mark really make an eyecatching background for couple shots.

As Birkenhead Town Hall isn’t far from the River Mersey, it’s only a short drive to Liverpool’s Hope Street. So we made our way over the River Mersey to take some photos with Hope Street’s suitcases and the ‘All you need is love, love is all you need’. Plus we stolled around the beautiful side streets that Liverpool has to offer and got some brilliant relaxed shots of the couple. We always get some fun-filled and intimate photos around Hope Street, and Lola and Mark were no exception.
