One Fine Day and Hope Street Hotel Wedding – Heather & Matt

One Fine Day is a Liverpool venue we hadn’t had the pleasure to shoot at until Heather and Matt’s wedding. It was a brilliant venue to head to after the ceremony and reception, which was held at Hope Street Hotel’s new Fifth Two venue.

As bridal preparations were well underway, the views from Hope Street Hotel’s Fifth Two balcony were gorgeous in the sunshine. Look one way for views overlooking the rooftops of Hope Street. Look the other way for the classic views of the Liver Birds and River Mersey. Whichever way you turn there was a view for miles over the vibrant city of Liverpool.

Floor-to-ceiling windows in the new ceremony room allowed plenty of natural light to flood into the intimate ceremony room. The reception room was no exception, providing another brilliant balcony to enjoy the glorious sun and views of the Liverpool Metropolitan Cathedral. This spot was also a lovely place to get some quick photos of the couple.

Before arriving at One Fine Day, we stole Heather and Matt away to get some pics of just the two of them. Of course being at Hope Street we weren’t far from the “Love is All You Need” street art. After some fun and romantic shots capturing the couple’s personality together, we made our way to One Fine Day.

Not long after arriving, it was time for the first dance. As Liverpool is such a wonderful city, unsurprisingly the side streets surrounding One Fine Day offered even more opportunities to get some shots of Heather and Matt. We got some lovely colours landing all around them as the evening approached.

Back inside One Fine Day, it was time to really celebrate and dance the night away to New Power Soul Club‘s fabulous live act!
